Void !

You run places and sometimes from yourself too. You look for the happiness and importantly contentment. You seek it in all the wrong places. That pretty face, that best friend of yours, that job satisfaction, the compassion you hold inside and everything just seems to be a star in a galaxy. You want to grow, hear more stories, learn new things, bask in sunshine and set yourself free like the migratory birds on the blue orange horizon. You do everything to make ends meet, to be independent and to accomplish small yet profound things in your life. But a void remains, it exists always. No matter how smooth things might run, we always think of something that's missing. We are so busy finding things and happiness in things, as small as the tip of a needle. We tend to fill our hearts with joy yet the void remains. What is it that we all are chasing? What brings satisfaction? Will we ever be satisfied? Or is it really wise to not to be satisfied?

One day, you wanted something exactly what you are living right now, but now this feels boring. What brought the excitement down? What made all this gloomy and not-happening? There are no answers to all this, I guess!

One day you will earn more than you do today, one day you will have a bigger car and one day you will have a house of your own. But on that one day of your life, there will be a bigger void. A void which you made through all these years, by not living it fully and worrying about the void. The void of regrets and that void would not be filled then, because the void gets bigger and larger, always! If I ever made an impact by my words, you will now try to avoid making the void, but in that process too, you will be so busy in avoiding the void, that one fine day there will be a void which will not be filled because you wanted to avoid the void. The present is an answer to everything!
